Job Summary
Design and develop scalable software solutions across the stack while maintaining and improving legacy systems using .NET Framework and AngularJS. Build and integrate RESTful APIs using .NET, SOAP, and web technologies, then collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues. Perform unit testing, ensure adherence to coding standards, and deliver projects with high-quality results. This remote Senior Software Developer role requires 4+ years of experience in service-oriented architecture and proficiency in C#, MS SQL, and Visual Studio 2022.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in software development with service-oriented architecture
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Proficiency in .NET Framework (4.8) using C#, VB, ASP.NET
- Experience with Visual Studio 2022
- Experience with relational database development using MS SQL
- Familiarity with AngularJS (legacy systems)
- Web technologies: HTML, XML, XSL, JavaScript, VBScript, Ajax, ActiveX
- Experience with SOAP and REST services
- Knowledge of IIS (Internet Information Services)
- Experience with ASP and JScript
- Familiarity with Software Factory concepts
- Team Foundation Server and version control systems
- Understanding of distributed architectures and internet-based systems
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environment
- Strong documentation practices and attention to detail
- Ability to mentor peers and support end-users effectively
- Up-to-date knowledge of common development concepts and technologies
- This is a remote position
