Job Summary
Senior Software Developer to take end-to-end ownership of Shopify app features, drive AI-enabled innovations, and build high-throughput carrier integrations. You will architect and ship backend services and frontend experiences using Node.js/TypeScript, React, and Shopify APIs, own the lifecycle of public Shopify Apps, and leverage AWS serverless infrastructure (Lambda, SQS, SNS, S3, CloudFront). You will integrate AI capabilities (Claude Code, LLMs) into development workflows, ensure robust integrations with Mintsoft/PeopleVox and other logistics tools, and work within UK hours to collaborate with merchant markets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (advanced degrees or certifications are a plus)
- Extensive, hands-on production-grade Shopify experience with GraphQL in a live commercial setting
- Experience building and shipping public Shopify Apps and familiarity with app submission and review process
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB
- Front-end experience with React and Svelte and UI frameworks such as Shopify Polaris
- Operational data flows understanding for e-commerce logistics (order, shipment, inventory)
- Direct hands-on experience integrating with Mintsoft / PeopleVox (or equivalent) WMS
- Knowledge of cross-border shipping, international trade, and related documents (invoices, customs)
- Ability to own features end-to-end and ship high-quality code quickly
- Experience with AI-assisted development and CLI tools (e.g., Claude Code) is a plus
- Timezone alignment to UK working hours (09:00–17:30 GMT/BST)
