Senior Software Developer (Remote First)

Job Summary
Senior Software Developer responsible for ownership of the development of custom features, acting as the Subject Matter Expert for the team’s domain, and driving technical direction. You’ll design, implement, test, and monitor features, foster cross-team collaboration following Agile practices, evangelize solid software architecture, and collaborate with stakeholders to build scalable, user-friendly systems. You’ll write clean, maintainable code in a modern stack (TypeScript with Node.js, NestJS, React), contribute to knowledge sharing, mentor junior teammates, and develop and maintain documentation while aligning with company goals. You’ll work on cutting-edge technologies and participate in team initiatives like hackathons and growth-focused programs.
Required Qualifications
- University degree or college diploma in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years building rich, complex web applications
- Experience architecting and augmenting large software systems
- Extensive fullstack experience with Nodejs/AWS/Reactjs and the TypeScript ecosystem
- Experience with back-end development using NestJS
- Experience working with TypeORM
- Experience working with PostgreSQL
- Understanding of web security best practices and data protection
- Knowledge of containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
- A passion for clean, reusable, and well-structured code
- Ability to communicate efficiently
- Ability to mentor, coach, and work with others collaboratively
- A commitment to continuous improvement, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing
