Job Summary
Design, develop, debug, and enhance backend services, APIs, and server-side components supporting distributed cloud systems within existing architectures. Perform moderately complex problem-solving with guidance to build and improve scalable, reliable applications or operating systems, occasionally suggesting incremental architectural improvements aligned with design specifications. Utilize Java or other object-oriented languages, RESTful APIs, microservices, and containerized deployments to deliver high-quality solutions while adhering to established development processes and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience with software development or programming
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Knowledge of distributed system fundamentals, object-oriented design, data structures, & algorithm design, etc.
- Proficient with at least one object-oriented coding language such as Java, C++, C#, Go, etc.
- Systematic problem-solving approach, strong communication skills, a sense of ownership, and drive
- Experienced in building highly available and scalable distributed services
- Experienced with microservice design patterns
