Senior Software Developer

Job Summary
Design, develop, and test software applications while maintaining existing products with a focus on performance, usability, and scalability. Participate in spring planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Debug and fix problems as they arise, providing input on proposed solutions to identify potential gaps before they occur. Safely refactor code by gaining domain knowledge and support the team through pull requests, advice sharing, and knowledge exchange. Collaborate effectively using a problem-solving approach that leverages past experiences. Hybrid work environment with required weekly office attendance in Calgary. 5-7 years of experience in C#, SQL Server, Azure, and .NET Core. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 5-7 years of professional experience in with C#, SQL Server, and GIT
- 5-7 years of professional experience using Azure
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of C#, SQL Server, and Azure
- Strong knowledge of SOLID principles
- Strong knowledge of ASP.NET, .NET Core, and EF Core
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services
- Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and load testing
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Familiarity with Terraform, Python and ESRI JS APIs
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Blazor
- Position is only available to be based out of our Calgary office

- Prolonged exposure to computer keyboards and computer screens
- Manual dexterity required to use laptop and peripherals
- Role requires increased and/or flexible work hours when managing multiple time-sensitive or special requests that have specific deadlines
