Job Summary
Design, develop, enhance, and support critical payment applications processing high-volume domestic and international transactions using Java, .NET, and SQL. Build functionality for wire transfers, clearing, and settlement processes while troubleshooting application issues to ensure system stability and performance. Partner with business stakeholders, operations teams, and architects to translate requirements into scalable, compliant technical solutions across the full software development lifecycle. Provide technical guidance to junior developers, perform code reviews, and lead complex projects from design through implementation. Support production environments for critical incident resolution and document technical designs for ongoing maintenance.

- 5+ years' Experience in Java/J2EE
- Responsible for Full stack development
- Ability to design modules independently
- Ability to review new technologies as applicable solutions to new or existing problems
- Work closely with the development team on implementing methodologies
- Must have a solid understanding of SDLC and AGILE development practices
- Provide peer code reviews
- Ensure code and design meets specifications, quality and security standards, and is maintainable
- Work with Business Analysts to analyze and convert business requirements into scalable, robust and flexible designs
- Test software components
- Follow configuration management/version control policies
- Investigate and research defects, present solution with estimated work effort and implement
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of banking systems: real-time payments, domestic wire transfers, ACH Processing, clearing and settlement systems
- Support payment lifecycle processing including initiation, validation, routing, settlement, reconciliation, and exception handling
- Implement integration with core banking and payment platforms
