Job Summary
Design and implement robust, scalable integrations between internal systems, external applications, devices, and cloud services using modern patterns like REST and event-driven architecture. Develop and maintain APIs, data transformation logic, and integration services while ensuring reliable data exchange, error handling, and idempotency. Define system interfaces and contracts across distributed components to support performance and regulatory constraints. Support integration testing, troubleshoot production issues, and improve reliability through monitoring and logging. Work closely with Product, DevOps, QA/RA, and Architecture teams to define requirements and resolve cross-system integration efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 4+ years of software development experience, with strong focus on system integration
- Proven experience designing and building APIs and integration solutions
- Strong understanding of: RESTful APIs, messaging systems, and event-driven architectures
- Data formats and protocols (e.g., JSON, XML, HL7/FHIR)
- Integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, batch, streaming)
- Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and integration failures
