Job Summary
Develop new product capabilities and improve existing ones within GLOBO's suite, carrying projects end-to-end from ideation to deployment. Build processes and tools to diagnose and resolve bugs, while leveraging agentic coding tools to accelerate development. Monitor and resolve performance issues, perform code reviews, and mentor team members on best practices. Improve overall developer experience by creating tools that make the platform easier, safer, and faster to use. Requires Ruby/Rails, PostgreSQL, AWS, and JavaScript expertise with 3+ years of scale software experience.
Required Qualifications
- Experience and expert level knowledge in Ruby/Ruby on Rails
- Experience and expert level knowledge in PostgreSQL
- Experience and expert level knowledge in AWS
- Experience and expert level knowledge in JavaScript
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
- 3+ years of experience developing online, scale software
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing
- The ability to own a project independently and drive the desired outcomes
