Job Summary
Senior Software Developer for Wealthsimple’s Clients & Accounts team focused on frontend architecture and onboarding experiences. You will architect and scale foundational frontend SDKs, lead the development of core onboarding components such as Know Your Client (KYC), Identity Verification (IDV), and signing, and contribute to end-to-end frontend delivery with strong emphasis on user experience, polish, and robust frontend architecture. The role emphasizes TypeScript/React-based frontend work with occasional backend touch (Ruby/SQL/Java/Kotlin) to support onboarding features, and includes responsibilities such as delivering features, participating in pair-programming during onboarding, and contributing to production systems.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Typescript, React, React Native
- Experience building scalable frontend components and services
- Experience with frontend performance profiling and optimization
- Nice to have backend languages Ruby/SQL/Java (Kotlin) and GraphQL
