Job Summary
Develop and implement client/server and web-based Java applications to support business requirements while performing coding, testing, and debugging. Resolve technical issues through investigation, conduct performance and scalability analysis, and refine integrations between applications. Mentor junior developers on design patterns and best practices while documenting application processes and adhering to high-quality development principles. Work within an agile team using Scrum methodologies, creating design documents and leveraging Java/JEE, SQL Server, and MySQL. Report to the Technical Operations Manager as part of an enterprise-grade software system development effort.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of Software Development experience
- Knowledge of Java/JEE, JSON, XML, REST, MVC frameworks, design patterns
- Working knowledge of object-oriented design and development skills
- Experience using Scrum/Agile development methodologies
- Experience writing, modifying, and debugging software
- Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications
- Experience analyzing and resolving technical and application problems
- Experience analyzing information, performing software testing, and troubleshooting
- Experience with documenting application processes
- Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget
- SQL Server 2012+ and MySQL 5.5+ experience
- Bachelor's Degree in information technology or related field
