Job Summary

Senior Software Developer responsible for designing, building, and deploying highly scalable, resilient cloud microservices; collaborate with UI designers to ensure seamless integration; work with Python, AWS, RDS, and file-based storage; apply software quality processes including automation testing, CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews; experience with RESTful APIs, NoSQL/file-based storage, and various scripting languages; familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, and cloud architectures; role requires TS/SCI clearance and is based in Chantilly, VA.

Required Qualifications

  • ACTIVE TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent
  • Distributed cross-platform applications experience
  • Automation testing, CI/CD pipelines
  • RESTful APIs or cloud development
  • Python, Java, scripting languages
  • NoSQL/file-based storage knowledge
  • DevOps/infrastructure as code
  • Agile/Scrum experience
  • Unix/Linux experience
  • Data lakes/Databricks or related technologies
  • Web server technologies
  • DevOps/Release engineering
  • Communication and collaboration skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Python, AWS, RDS, and file-based storage systems
  • Hands-on experience with distributed cross-platform applications, orchestration, and security
  • Experience with Agile software development and DevOps practices (infrastructure as code, CI/CD)
  • RESTful APIs development or cloud-based software development
  • Experience with Python, Java, and scripting languages
  • Knowledge of NoSQL and/or file-based storage (MongoDB, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Puppet, Terraform)
  • Unix/Linux operating system experience
  • Experience with data lakes, Databricks or similar
  • Web server technologies (Tomcat, WebLogic, IIS, HTTPCore)
  • DevOps, Release engineering and Operations for automated deployments
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a TS/SCI with Polygraph environment
