Job Summary
Senior Software Developer responsible for designing, building, and deploying highly scalable, resilient cloud microservices; collaborate with UI designers to ensure seamless integration; work with Python, AWS, RDS, and file-based storage; apply software quality processes including automation testing, CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews; experience with RESTful APIs, NoSQL/file-based storage, and various scripting languages; familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, and cloud architectures; role requires TS/SCI clearance and is based in Chantilly, VA.
Required Qualifications
- ACTIVE TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent
- Distributed cross-platform applications experience
- Automation testing, CI/CD pipelines
- RESTful APIs or cloud development
- Python, Java, scripting languages
- NoSQL/file-based storage knowledge
- DevOps/infrastructure as code
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Unix/Linux experience
- Data lakes/Databricks or related technologies

Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent experience

- Hands-on experience with distributed cross-platform applications, orchestration, and security
- Experience with Agile software development and DevOps practices (infrastructure as code, CI/CD)
- RESTful APIs development or cloud-based software development
- Experience with Python, Java, and scripting languages
- Knowledge of NoSQL and/or file-based storage (MongoDB, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Puppet, Terraform)
- Unix/Linux operating system experience
- Experience with data lakes, Databricks or similar
- Web server technologies (Tomcat, WebLogic, IIS, HTTPCore)
- DevOps, Release engineering and Operations for automated deployments
