Job Summary
Design and develop AI features across software programs, integrating multiple data streams into customer systems. Complete cloud platform migrations and create sustainable applications using Python, Java, and Scala within modern DevSecOps environments. Work as a member of an agile scrum team to implement backlog requirements, manage Git workflows, and deploy containerized microservices on AWS, OpenShift, and Kubernetes. Maintain code repositories, conduct automated testing, and troubleshoot complex systems while supporting mission-critical applications for the NGA customer. This role supports the NGA customer mission within Bcore's Mission Services division, focusing on architecting critical IT solutions and developing cutting-edge technology to protect national cyber interests.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS clearance (with SCI Eligibility)
- eligibility to obtain CI Poly
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering or any related field/major
- 6 additional years of experience in information technology
- 8+ years of experience
- Senior-level software development experience designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and mission-focused applications
- Strong programming experience with Python, Java, and Scala
- Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs
- Git-based workflows
