Job Summary
Design and implement core product logic for agent-based developer workflows in Air, building deep integrations between product surfaces, external APIs, and local CLIs. Write highly concurrent, asynchronous logic to manage multi-step agent interactions while improving end-to-end user experience across setup, context handling, and failure recovery. Lead technical design discussions, conduct peer code reviews, and partner with distributed product and ML teams to solve complex architectural problems. Use AI agents in your daily development to analyze limitations and refine workflows from firsthand experience.
Required Qualifications
- Comprehensive experience in professional software development
- Strong programming skills in at least one modern backend language
- Readiness to work primarily in Kotlin
- Deep practical understanding of concurrent and asynchronous programming
- Experience with coroutines
- Experience with threads
- Experience with async I/O
- Experience with synchronization primitives
- Proven track record of building and shipping application workflows
- Proven track record of building third-party integrations
- Proven track record of building service-backed logic
- Hands-on experience working with AI-assisted development tools
- Understanding of task orchestration
- Understanding of tool usage
- Understanding of prompt context management
- Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals
- Understanding of data structures
- Understanding of debugging
- Understanding of observability
- Understanding of test-driven development
- Fluency in written and spoken English
