Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain agentic orchestrations, automated workflows, and internal tools that improve software delivery outcomes. Partner with QA, product management, engineering leadership, and design to identify workflow bottlenecks and build solutions that improve collaboration and delivery quality. Develop agent-based workflows that coordinate multi-step tasks, interact with internal systems, and provide reliable, auditable outputs. Establish patterns and best practices for building trustworthy AI-assisted software delivery tools, including guardrails, validation steps, and human-in-the-loop review. Evaluate emerging AI and automation technologies to determine responsible application within the software development lifecycle. Build reusable frameworks, services, and APIs that enable teams to automate common delivery activities while collaborating with security and compliance stakeholders to ensure organizational standards. Mentor new developers and assist in onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- 5 or more years experience developing software in an Agile, team-based environment
- BS and/or MS in a technical discipline (Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred)
- Strong understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns
- Expertise with Angular, ASP.NET Core, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, SASS, and HTML
- Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases, and Entity Framework Core or similar object-relational mapping frameworks
- Experience building internal platforms, developer tools, automation frameworks, workflow engines, integrations, or productivity tools
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, code review, release management, and operational support
- Ability to design reliable, maintainable, and scalable software architectures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering, QA, product, management, and design teams
Desired Qualifications
- Experience building AI-assisted applications, LLM-powered tools, autonomous or semi-autonomous agents, or agentic workflow systems
- Familiarity with orchestration frameworks, tool-calling architectures, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, or AI safety practices
- Knowledge of secure software development practices, privacy-aware system design, and governance for AI-enabled tools
- Experience working in healthcare technology, SaaS, regulated environments, or organizations with strong compliance requirements
