Job Summary
Lead the implementation of architecture for Sterling Order Management System solutions by translating business requirements into logical program designs and code modules. Perform configuration and development using Service Definition Framework, agents, and APIs while creating automation tools to optimize existing processes. Manage infrastructure installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting for complex OMS deployments, responding to production incidents to analyze sources and recommend solutions. Work with SQL databases and adhere to SDLC principles, creating technical documentation with visual diagrams for team understanding. Facilitate change management activities and ensure deliverable quality within a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience as an architect or Sr Developer working on complex projects
- Experience with and knowledge of the various modules in IBM Sterling OMS
- Hands-on development experience with core Java, servlets and web services (ReST & SOAP)
- Experience working with XMLs, XSLs and JSON
- Experience working on any one application server: WAS, WebLogic, JBoss, etc.
- Working knowledge of Azure / AWS cloud
- Hands-on experience with UI technologies such as Angular JS, React JS
- Knowledge of relevant security and compliance regulations
- Working knowledge of project processes, agile methodology, and continuous improvement principles
- Ability to create meeting presentations that are clear and easy to comprehend
- Ability to work in a flexible, fast changing environment and work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written/oral communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Retail/Distribution/Supply Chain domain fundamentals is a plus
