Job Summary
Design and lead the architecture of secure, scalable, and cloud-native SaaS applications using .NET, Angular, AWS, and modern architectural patterns. Define and implement enterprise solutions leveraging microservices, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, event-driven architecture, and API-first principles. Mentor engineering teams, drive architecture reviews, establish technical standards, and promote engineering excellence across projects. Champion AI-first software development by leveraging AI-powered development tools and best practices to improve productivity, software quality, and delivery speed. Requires 12+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years as a Software Architect. Located in Costa Rica, Perú, Colombia, or Bolivia in a remote mode.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years as a Software Architect, Principal Engineer, or equivalent technical leadership role
- Expert proficiency in C#
- Expert proficiency in .NET Core
- Expert proficiency in Entity Framework
- Expert proficiency in Angular 16+
- Strong experience with SQL Server
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL
- Strong experience with NoSQL databases
- Proven experience designing enterprise SaaS applications
- Proven experience using microservices
- Proven experience using Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Proven experience using CQRS
- Proven experience using event-driven architectures
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud platforms
- Experience designing secure applications
- Experience designing API-first applications
- Experience designing cloud-native applications
- Daily experience using AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar
- Familiarity with AI concepts and workflows including LLMs, RAG, MCP, and agentic development
- Strong leadership skills

- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience
