Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer/Architect to design, build, and scale backend systems powering fintech and blockchain infrastructure. Core focus areas include designing scalable Node.js APIs, blockchain integrations, tokenization workflows, and permissions frameworks; improving observability, deployment workflows, and platform reliability; collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions. Requires 5+ years in backend software engineering, strong Node.js, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, familiarity with blockchain/digital asset ecosystems (Ethereum/EVM), token standards, and effective English communication. This is a 100% remote, worldwide position with cross-border collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of backend software engineering experience
- Strong hands-on Node.js expertise
- Experience building scalable backend systems and APIs
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with databases, asynchronous systems, and microservices architectures
- Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure and digital asset ecosystems
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in fast-paced engineering environments
- Experience with financial infrastructure or fintech platforms
- Familiarity with Ethereum and EVM-compatible ecosystems
- Understanding of token standards and blockchain transaction workflows
- Experience with monitoring and observability tooling
- Excellent English communication skills - mandatory
