Job Summary
Develop multi-tier web applications and microservices using the Microsoft stack. Work on backend services (C#, Web API 2) and collaborate with frontend developers to create RESTful APIs for product entitlement/license management, renewals, and CRM support tickets. Participate in daily scrum, own assigned stories, and apply solid software architecture and design skills. The role emphasizes extensive .NET and SQL Server experience, experience with web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON), OO design, and familiarity with patterns like MVC; knowledge of Microsoft Azure services is a plus. The Fortinet FortiCare team builds and supports applications including product registration, order fulfillment, service contract/license management, service renewal, and CRM support tooling, using MS .Net technologies and MS SQL Server.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of .Net web applications programming experience
- 7+ years SQL Server/T-SQL programming experience
- Understanding of web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, XML, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, Web Services
- Understanding of OO design and common web application programming patterns such as MVC
