Job Summary
Senior Software & AI Engineer responsible for designing and building a reliability platform that unifies system health, risk, and reliability across services. Build AI-assisted development workflows and agents for incident triage, root-cause exploration, log/trace summarization, and recommended actions. Develop developer-facing features and APIs to help engineers explore data, debug issues, and make better decisions. Utilize AI tools (Cursor, Claude, Copilot) to prototype, refactor, and ship high-quality code quickly. Own projects end-to-end from requirements to rollout, collaborating with Product, Infra, Data, and SRE teams. Emphasis on self-healing development patterns, AI-driven testing loops, automated validation, and continuous improvement. Desired UI knowledge (React/Angular) to support AI-generated UI with human validation. Core values emphasize inclusion and fair recruitment. Location: Heredia.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of backend or full-stack engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude, Copilot)
- Experience building end-to-end workflows using AI
- Familiarity with self-healing testing loops and automated validation driven by AI
- Ability to leverage AI across the full software development lifecycle
- Strong problem-solving and product sense
