Job Summary
Manage a complex caseload of children and young people with disabilities, undertaking assessments, reviews, and care planning in accordance with statutory requirements. Complete Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children processes where appropriate. Work directly with families, carers, education providers, and health professionals to identify needs, deliver interventions, and coordinate support. Develop and review tailored support plans to ensure children receive appropriate resources while maintaining accurate case recordings and reports. Promote independence and wellbeing to deliver positive long-term outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Significant post-qualified experience within Children's Social Care
- Experience working with children with disabilities and their families
- Knowledge of safeguarding legislation and statutory responsibilities
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
