Job Summary
Senior Social Worker – Assessment Team responsible for leading statutory child welfare assessments, chairing meetings, guiding colleagues on complex cases, preparing reports and care plans, and contributing to multi-agency child protection planning within the Newcastle area. Responsibilities include delivering statutory social work services to children and families, undertaking and leading Children & Families assessments, maintaining case records, collaborating with families and partner agencies, and participating in supervision and reflective practice. Requires Social Work England registration, UK work eligibility, a full UK driving licence, post-qualification experience, and a degree in Social Work.
