Job Summary
Lead end-to-end NSS architecture for high-performance network subsystems on IPU/DPU platforms, including packet processing pipelines, QoS models, telemetry and observability. Define architectural direction for programmable vs fixed-function pipelines, specify pipeline scaling strategies, and drive multi-generation NSS roadmaps. Collaborate across SoC, compute, memory, software/firmware, validation, and customer teams; translate workload requirements into NSS architecture decisions; lead architectural reviews and influence cross-team technical direction; contribute to field diagnostics and large-scale deployment monitoring. Engage with external customers to align workload needs with NSS capabilities and ensure backward compatibility and scalability of the architecture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree
- 7+ years of experience in Networking ASIC / SoC / IPU / DPU architecture
- High-speed packet processing pipelines
- Experience with programmable datapath architectures (P4, pipeline microcode, or hybrid models)
- Experience with hyperscaler deployments or customer co-design engagements
- Experience in defining architecture for large-scale data center networking systems
- Strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills
