Job Summary
Senior Small Business Relationship Banker position at Regions (Jonesboro Main Branch) focusing on acquiring and expanding relationships with small business customers (revenues up to $5MM). Responsibilities include meeting with customers in person and by phone to assess financial needs, proactively offering Regions products and guidance, educating customers on consumer and business products (loans, deposits, merchant services, credit card), and promoting digital solutions. The role involves outbound calls to grow relationships, partnering with the Branch Manager to manage a portfolio, providing advanced guidance on Regions’ solutions, ensuring a high-quality customer experience, handling day-to-day branch duties as needed, referring complex needs to internal specialists, adhering to policies and regulatory requirements (including NMLS registration), and supporting junior bankers. Strong communication, relationship-building, and multitasking skills are essential, with potential overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of banking, sales, and/or customer service experience
- Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions
- Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels
- Ability to use a computer on a frequent basis, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor
- Ability to work Saturdays as needed
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to twenty (20) pounds
