Job Summary
Meet with customers and prospects in person and on the phone to determine financial needs and proactively offer appropriate products, services, and guidance. Focus on small business customers with revenues up to $5MM by acquiring new customers and deepening existing relationships through checking, credit cards, merchant services, and lending. Conduct outbound phone calls using generated lead lists to expand relationships and work in partnership with the Branch Manager to serve as a primary relationship manager. Educate customers on emerging technology and digital solutions, while owning and resolving customer issues and ensuring sound banking practices. Track time for hours in excess of 40 per week, eligible for overtime and incentive pay. Requires NMLS registration and ability to work Saturdays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of banking, sales, and/or customer service experience
- Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions
- Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels
- Ability to use a computer on a frequent basis, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor
- Ability to work Saturdays as needed
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to twenty (20) pounds
- Registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS)
