Senior Site Services Manager

Job Summary
Lead and develop the Facilities & Maintenance team to oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-performing environment. Manage maintenance teams and contractors, coordinate procurement activities including tendering and RFP processes, and optimize Building Management System dashboards for improved visibility. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage budgets to maximize value, and build strong supplier relationships to achieve cost savings. Act as the first point of contact for colleague queries, resolve operational issues, and ensure full compliance with SOPs, BRCGS, and ISO standards. Champion a proactive safety culture by reporting incidents promptly and conducting regular audits to track corrective actions. Work Monday to Friday for 40 hours within Smart parc, Spondon, Derby.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities and maintenance management, with a strong track record of leading high-performing teams
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and facilities operations
- Experience managing maintenance budgets, projects, and contractors to deliver safe, cost-effective solutions
- Solid understanding of health & safety legislation, compliance requirements, and operational standards
- Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality management standards
- A continuous improvement mindset, using data and insights to drive operational excellence
- Ability to foster a culture of high performance, safety, compliance, and accountability
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
- Proven ability to coach, develop, and inspire colleagues to achieve their full potential
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing performance and driving operational excellence
- Experience managing employee relations matters, including disciplinary processes up to and including dismissal
- Independent right to work in the UK
- Must be available for Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
- You are required to cooperate with HelloFresh in all health and safety matters
- You are responsible for ensuring you take reasonable care of your own health, and safety as well as others who may be affected by the work activities you undertake
- You must report incidents immediately and actively raise health and safety-related concerns to your Line Manager
- We will process Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks to the successful individual
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Master's degree
- Experience managing Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and waste management contracts
