Job Summary
Senior Site Reliability Engineer responsible for ensuring content accessibility across a globally distributed edge infrastructure, designing and operating load balancing and traffic shaping systems, and diagnosing and resolving production issues across network protocol layers. Key duties include owning HTTP traffic flow end-to-end, investigating reachability problems, and working across protocol layers to diagnose and fix issues. Required skills cover load balancing architecture, HTTP/Nginx/HAProxy tuning, DNS/routing/firewall, OSI 3-7 fluency, Linux administration, Python automation, observability, and Docker in high-traffic environments. Desirable bonuses include advanced networking concepts such as anycast, BGP, and modern HTTP protocols. Required Qualifications
- Experience with load balancing and traffic shaping
- Experience with NGINX and/or HAProxy

- Observability (metrics, logging, monitoring)
- Docker knowledge
