Job Summary
Senior Site Reliability Engineer embedded within a Product Area, responsible for reliability, performance, and automation of SimCorp’s Azure-based SaaS environments for both new and long-running clients. Roles include operating deployment pipelines, incident/problem/change management, disaster recovery, infrastructure readiness, and on-call support, with collaboration in Agile teams, knowledge sharing, and ITIL-aligned practices. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 3-5+ years in SRE/DevOps/Cloud roles; strong Azure expertise; IaC (Terraform/Bicep/ARM/Ansible); monitoring/logging tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Grafana); containerization (Kubernetes, Docker); scripting (PowerShell, Bash, SQL); and a growth mindset. For Toronto, Canada, the role follows a global hybrid policy (2 days in-office, remote other days). For Toronto only: salary range CAD 99,840–137,280 with discretionary bonus and benefits; varies by experience and qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3-5+ years in Site Reliability, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering roles
- Expertise with Microsoft Azure; AWS exposure is helpful
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, ARM, Ansible
- Hands-on experience in monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Grafana)
- Familiarity with SimCorp Dimension is a strong plus
- Experience managing onboarding projects and live production operations
- Understanding of networking, virtualization, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Scripting (PowerShell, Bash), SQL
- Collaborative mindset in cross-functional teams
- Interest in continuous learning and growth
