Job Summary
Senior Site Reliability Engineer on the Codex (Code & Development Experience) team within the Platform Factory at Criteo. Build and operate the developer platform that powers software development across the company, focusing on containerized development environments, code management, review, search, and AI-assisted development tools. Ensure reliability, scalability, security, and performance of services used by engineers worldwide; develop automation, APIs, and integrations to accelerate delivery; collaborate with software engineers, ML engineers, data scientists, and platform teams; define engineering best practices, drive platform modernization, and contribute to observability and capacity planning. Requires strong background in SRE, platform engineering, DevOps, distributed systems, and modern developer workflows; hands-on experience with Linux, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code; willingness to participate in on-call rotation and mentor peers.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in SRE, Platform Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineering, or distributed systems
- Strong software development skills in Go, Python, C#, Ruby, or similar languages
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, APIs, scalability, reliability, and software engineering best practices
- Experience building or operating large-scale engineering platforms or infrastructure services
- Power user on Linux server environments
- Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and automation practices
- Experience operating developer platforms, source code management systems
- Passion for automation, observability, reliability, and reducing operational complexity
- Willingness to participate in the team's on-call rotation
