Job Summary
The Lead SRE will assist with maintenance and support of a hosted application platform, leading projects related to the application environment and troubleshooting connectivity and performance issues. Responsibilities include following change control policies, supporting incidents, and participating in off-hour maintenance windows for high availability. Skills required include 8-10 years in Application and SRE support, expertise in AWS services, Kubernetes, Linux systems, and observability tools like Datadog. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Required Qualifications
- Min 8-10 yrs experience on Application and SRE support
- Minimum 4 + years of working knowledge on AWS Services – Lambda, ECS, ALB, RDS, CloudWatch Insights, etc
- Support and administration on Kubernetes
- Observability with creating Datadog alert/monitoring/Dashboards
- Linux/windows sysadmin
- Prior experience in Application support and incident recovery must
- Have detailed knowledge of Linux systems (e.g. RHEL) with regular use of Unix command line
- Familiarity with Relational Databases, proficient in SQL and query tools
- Shell/Perl scripting
- Git
- Jenkins
- ITIL certification a plus

- Programming (Java, Python, shell)
