Job Summary
Senior Site Planning Engineer leads planning activities for Abu Dhabi projects, supporting project managers, reviewing contractor work programs, monitoring schedule and cost control, developing progress reports, and coordinating risk management. Responsibilities span budgeting, client relations, pre-construction reviews, submittals, and various project control tasks. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, extensive experience (10+ years) in construction planning, and proficiency with Primavera; Arabic and English language skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- PMP Certification is preferred
- Chartered Professional Engineering certification or equivalent is preferred
- Knowledge of construction supervision services
- Understanding of international engineering standards and codes
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Good financial planning and budgeting skills
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Good time management skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent knowledge of scheduling and planning software (e.g. Primavera)
- Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic and English
- 10+ years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering and Planning Industry in a top tier regional / multinational consultancy firm
- Demonstrated experience with management of project planning activities in large scale construction supervision projects
- Demonstrated experience with utilization of latest construction management and planning software and tools
- Experience within the Middle East
