Job Summary
Oversee and deliver projects focused on stormwater management planning, site civil design, and permitting. Develop design plans for stormwater practices, site grading, roadway layouts, and utility systems for commercial, industrial, and public facility developments. Analyze tributary drainage areas and size stormwater management systems while coordinating with clients and stakeholders. Prepare permit packages and technical reports including drainage reports, due diligence memos, and SWPPP documents. Manage cost estimating and construction administration for land development projects. Work out of the Morristown, NJ office on a four-day work week. Requires a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a PE license or ability to sit for the exam within six months.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in civil, environmental or water resources engineering
- 7–15 years related experience
- Strong understanding of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation
- Experience with modeling software, such as AutoTURN, DiaLux Evo
- Detailed oriented, excellent writing and communication skills
- PE required or ability to sit for the exam within 6 months
