Senior Site Agent

Senior Site Agent with an engineering background (HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent) leading site-based construction and installation activities for Murphy Energy projects in North London. Responsibilities include promoting health, safety and environmental standards, producing and maintaining H&S plans, risk assessments, method statements and work packages, ensuring safe and compliant workplaces, coordinating with project management, pre-construction meetings, weekly site progress reviews, subcontractor coordination, and delivering project targets. The role covers Formwork Reinforced Concrete, Steel Frame, and GIS Hall fit-out, with a focus on achieving cost-effective labour and plant use, driving safety and quality improvements, and providing technical support to the delivery team. Required to have NEC4 contract understanding, the ability to read drawings, manage safe working systems, and maintain detailed records; driving is necessary. Preferred candidates will have substations experience and current SCS Card and SSSTS/SMSTSCertifications. The position emphasizes leadership, coordination with procurement, and adherence to Murphy’s culture and safety standards.
