Job Summary
Senior Signaling Engineer Onboard responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining embedded C software for on-board signaling and train control systems; work on safety-related functions such as automatic train protection, diagnostics, timing synchronization, and fault management; collaborate with on-board hardware and safety peripherals; provide technical leadership, mentoring, and cross-disciplinary collaboration across engineering teams to address performance, safety, maintainability, and certification impacts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
- 10+ years of embedded software development experience
- Expert-level proficiency in C for embedded, real-time environments
- Strong understanding of real-time concepts including scheduling, interrupts, concurrency, memory constraints, and hardware interaction
- Experience in structured, audited, configuration-controlled development environments
