Job Summary
Design and develop optical transceivers and Linear Pluggable Optics (LPO) modules for high-speed interconnect systems supporting 800G, 1.6T, and future generation applications. Evaluate optical engine integration, laser drivers, and photodiode interfaces while analyzing insertion loss, return loss, and channel compliance. Collaborate with firmware, software, and mechanical teams to optimize channels using DSPs, retimers, and SerDes devices for Ethernet and PCIe architectures. Support compliance testing, customer qualification, and performance optimization of networking products for AI, cloud, and data center applications.
Required Qualifications
- BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in high-speed signal integrity engineering
- Strong understanding of high-speed serial interfaces and networking systems
- Experience with 56G, 112G, and preferably 224G PAM4 technologies
- Experience developing optical transceivers and LPO products
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on optical transceiver, LPO module qualification with broader system integration
- Knowledge of Co-Packaged Optics (CPO)
- Familiarity with IEEE Ethernet and PCIe SIG standards and CMIS compliance testing
- Experience with 224G PAM4 technologies
