Senior Signal Integrity Engineer
On-siteNashua, New Hampshire, United States
Job Summary
Develop channel architectures for high-speed copper and optical interconnect products, performing pre-layout and post-layout SI simulations for channels operating at 224G PAM4 and beyond. Analyze insertion loss, return loss, crosstalk, and impedance discontinuities to optimize PCB stack-ups, via structures, and connector interfaces. Design Active Electrical Cable (AEC) architectures utilizing DSPs and retimers, evaluating equalization performance, FEC impacts, and adaptive link behavior. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including PCB design, mechanical, and manufacturing to drive technical decisions and support customer design reviews. Develop correlation between simulation and measured performance using VNAs, TDRs, and BERT systems to analyze eye diagrams, COM, SNDR, and jitter.
