Job Summary
Manage multiple short-term rental listings across Airbnb and VRBO by creating, updating, and optimizing property descriptions, amenities, photos, and availability. Handle the full guest lifecycle from inquiries and bookings through check-in, stay duration, and check-out by responding promptly to questions, concerns, and urgent requests. Coordinate cleaners, turnovers, maintenance, and property-related requirements while maintaining accurate reservation calendars. Review unit-specific amenities, access instructions, and operating procedures to ensure guests receive accurate check-in information and follow-up support. Assist with launching new properties as they receive licenses and professional photos, working closely with the Virtual Assistant during onboarding. Perform light bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks and support dynamic pricing activities using PriceLabs or similar platforms. Oversee daily operations for six to seven properties transitioning to nightly vacation rentals with a PST-aligned schedule including evening and weekend coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Strong, recent, and hands-on experience managing Airbnb properties
- Experience managing multiple short-term or vacation rental listings simultaneously
- Experience using both Airbnb and VRBO
- Previous experience working for a property management, hospitality, or vacation rental company
- Comprehensive understanding of the Airbnb guest journey, platform rules, listing management, reservations, and issue resolution
- Ability to manage guest communications independently without requiring training on Airbnb fundamentals
- Strong written English and the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and empathetically with guests
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
- Ability to handle urgent concerns calmly and make sound operational decisions
- Comfortable working independently while coordinating with cleaners, contractors, and internal team members
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Guesty, Hospitable, or another property management system
- Experience with PriceLabs or similar dynamic-pricing software
- QuickBooks or light bookkeeping experience
- Experience launching new short-term rental listings
- Familiarity with Canadian holidays, seasonal pricing, and vacation-rental booking patterns
