Senior Shopify Project & Account Manager (Remote - CET Hours)

Job Summary
Senior Shopify Project & Account Manager to lead project delivery, manage client relationships, and coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple Shopify engagements. This freelance contractor role oversees up to 7 concurrent Shopify/eCommerce projects including Shopify builds, CRO initiatives, and SEO retainers, while maintaining timelines, budgets, and delivery quality. Responsibilities include managing Asana boards, schedules, risk logs, and change requests; coordinating design, development, and marketing teams; serving as the primary client contact; conducting recurring reviews and roadmap discussions; identifying upsell and retainer opportunities; leading delivery meetings; mentoring junior team members; contributing to SOPs and process improvements; ensuring projects stay within scope and profitability targets; supporting quoting, scoping, and proposals as needed. Desirable experience includes CRO, SEO, email marketing collaboration, distributed or international teams, and agile delivery. Tools frequently used include Asana, Slack, Notion, Figma, Loom, Shopify, and Claude; core hours CET 10:00–18:00; fully remote contractor position with international collaboration potential.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Project Management
- 4+ years of experience in Account Management
- 4+ years of experience in Digital Agency Operations
- Shopify or eCommerce environments experience
- Strong understanding of Shopify ecosystems and website delivery workflows
- Experience managing multiple client projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience using project management platforms such as Asana
