Job Summary
Senior SHEQ Officer responsible for ensuring compliance with Sandvik’s EHS Global standards and ISO management systems, including planning and conducting SHEQ audits, maintaining documentation, implementing procedures, managing non-conformances, and supporting departments to meet SHEQ targets; requires degree in natural sciences/engineering/safety/related fields, ISO expertise, first-aid certification, strong MS Office skills, and at least 5 years of experience. Location: Kumasi, Ghana; on-site role with emphasis on safety culture, audits, training, and supplier/sub-contractor inspections.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Natural Sciences, Engineering, Safety, Environment, or related fields
- Proven competence in ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards
- Certificate of Competence in First Aid
- Proven computer literacy in Microsoft Office
- Not less than 5 years’ working experience in relevant field
- English proficiency
- Relevant Mincom certification will be an added advantage
