Job Summary
Senior SharePoint Project Manager responsible for leading a high-performing team in daily IT operations and enterprise SharePoint projects for a government client in the Washington, DC area. You will manage requirements analysis, design, development, deployment, and maintenance of Enterprise SharePoint projects, serve as the primary point of contact for the SharePoint team, oversee IT operations and IT security initiatives, coordinate data migrations and site/content management, and provide end-user training and incident root-cause analysis. Must have strong SharePoint experience (on-premises or Online), experience managing teams (10+), PMP and CSM certifications, HTML5/CSS skills, and the ability to drive projects to successful completion within an operational IT environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Computer Science or related field)
- Minimum 10 years administering SharePoint farms on premise or SharePoint Online (O365)
- 7+ years in application support, IT operations, or related field
- 3+ years managing teams of 10+
- Certifications: PMP, CSM
- Experience coordinating data migrations, forms, site and content creation and changes, including integration with other systems
- Experience creating, deleting, and managing SharePoint sites
- Strong experience with HTML5 and CSS
- Ability to lead and mentor engineers; strong communication and cross-team collaboration
- Experience with SharePoint Online (O365) and on-premise migration
- Experience with SharePoint, ServiceNow, or Salesforce in development/support contexts
- Experience with SharePoint Records or Document Management systems
- SharePoint feature/apps installation and development, migration, integration, testing and troubleshooting
- Managing and administering SharePoint servers in Azure/O365
- Performing maintenance of SharePoint platform, servers, and intranet
- Providing SharePoint support and end-user training
- Data retrieval and backup procedures; storage management
- Ability to work with vendor support contracts
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to independently create solutions and collaborate with engineers
