Job Summary
Plan and execute SharePoint farm version deployments and maintain automated zero-downtime patching processes. Implement Microsoft SharePoint On-Demand Assessments and troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues within large-scale enterprise environments. Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and service owners while producing comprehensive technical documentation. This 90-day assignment requires a clean criminal record and begins with five onsite days in Valletta, Malta, followed by a hybrid model with a minimum of nine onsite days. The role supports a European Institution in international protection, contributing to harmonized asylum practices across Member States.
Required Qualifications
- University degree (BSc/MSc)
- Be eligible to obtain a criminal record
- Ability to understand, speak and write English, B2
- 10+ years of IT experience, including extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft SharePoint infrastructure administration and support
- Proven expertise in SharePoint farm deployments, upgrades, patching, automation, and operational support
- Strong experience with SharePoint Server, Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS, Active Directory, and PowerShell
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex SharePoint platform issues in large-scale enterprise environments
- Experience implementing Microsoft SharePoint best practices, health assessments, and high-availability solutions
- Strong documentation, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills
- Work Model: Hybrid, with a minimum of 9 days onsite in Valletta, Malta
- Important: The first 5 working days must be completed onsite at the client's premises in Valletta as part of the onboarding process
- Requirement: A clean criminal record is mandatory at the time of application
- Duration: 90-day (short-term)
