Job Summary
Directly supervise nine Senior Services Specialists and three Senior Nutrition Aides, overseeing daily efforts, analyzing performance, and conducting site visits to ensure standards are met. Provide guidance and tools for staff while supporting the integration of best practices for older adults. Assist the Housing Stability Manager in implementing strategies, identifying health and social service partnerships, and facilitating related agreements and meetings. Perform administrative duties including timecard approvals and performance evaluations. This hybrid role allows remote work two days weekly after a successful six-month probation period.
Required Qualifications
- At least seven (7) years of substantial and demonstrable experience in the field of Social Work, Social Services, Human Services, or a related field
- capacity to effectively lead and supervise a team
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology or a related field
- An equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills, cultural humility, and the ability to engage sensitively and constructively with department and agency leadership
- Exceptional oral communication skills including comfort with speaking publicly in a variety of settings and ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively
- Effective written communication skills including experience with preparing reports, briefings, and other written content
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and exercise good judgment
- Knowledge of program development, implementation and evaluation
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to coach and guide staff
- Considerable knowledge of Social Work/Social Service practices and programs
- Knowledge of subsidized housing programs
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
