Job Summary
Senior Service Technician to perform field service repairs and lead installation projects on packaging equipment (Stretch Wrappers, Case Sealers, Strapping Machines, Shrink Systems, Balers, Palletizers, Bagging Machine, etc.). Responsibilities include completing service tickets, collaborating with Sales, training customers on new equipment placements, and mentoring new technicians. Requires 4+ years in field service, strong mechanical/electrical and CAD skills, PLC/VFD/sensor/relay knowledge, ability to troubleshoot, and valid driver’s license. 40-hour week with OT, minimal overnight travel; travel up to 8 hours daily using company vehicles. Required Qualifications
- 4+ years Field Service experience in packaging or repair field
- Advanced knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical (High & Low Voltages) concepts
- Understand the essential principles of PLC’s, VFD’s, Sensors, Switches, Relays
- Ability to read CAD drawings
- Excellent ability in troubleshooting and repairing equipment
- Ability to work in challenging and time-sensitive situations
- Valid Driver’s License (Company Vehicle Provided)
