Job Summary
Senior Service Technician responsible for repair and maintenance of component cable, category cable, fiber, wireless access points, cameras, access control devices, and other low voltage cabling and devices with or without direct onsite supervision. Install, service, and maintain access control devices, cameras, and cable-pathway systems; maintain company-owned equipment; collaborate in a team environment; adhere to safety rules and best practices; demonstrate willingness to learn and work within a team. Must read and use measuring tools, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends; comfortable with heights; present professionally; show solid organization and multi-tasking abilities; capable of following detailed instructions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience in physical security, IT or electronics field
- Experience configuring access control and surveillance systems
- Valid driver’s license
- Be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicles
- Successfully pass a background check and drug screen
