Job Summary
Act as a floater for the logistics team providing as needed coverage for various routes. Provide on-route training for new couriers/drivers and assist with dispatch and pickups when needed. Load all necessary suppliers for daily pickups and complete the daily pick-up schedule in a timely manner. Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift and handle all specimens and lab samples in a safe and efficient manner. Safely operate the company vehicle while evaluating traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions. Work Monday through Friday, four days per week, from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years or more experience of driver or courier experience
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
- 1 year or more of Customer service experience
- Very punctual
- Strong time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to problem solve customer issues
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
- Be at least 21 years' old
