Job Summary
Senior Service Line Clinical Value Analysis leads or directs Clinical Value Analysis initiatives across hospital service lines, collaborating with clinical teams and departments to translate cost efficiency and quality/outcomes improvement into value-based product, capital purchase, and procedural decisions. Responsible for facilitating value analysis committees, engaging clinical end-users as stewards of resources, evaluating clinical and financial benefits of strategic sourcing initiatives, new products, and trials, supporting backorder and patient safety incident resolution with clinically acceptable alternatives, and driving change management and standardization efforts. Requires strong analytical, communication, and project-management skills, expertise in healthcare contracting and compliance language, and the ability to lead both virtual and in-person meetings and provide executive-level guidance to clinicians and leaders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, nursing degree highly preferred
- Master’s degree preferred
- Five (5) years of patient care experience in a hospital clinical environment and/or previous value analysis experience with a minimum of three (3) years of experience for internal candidates
- Previous experience as a skilled facilitator
- Minimum of three to five years of clinical nursing (preferably in-hospital) experience preferred
- Leadership experience preferred
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) and Certification in value analysis or a clinical specialty (preferred)
