Job Summary
Senior Service Engineer responsible for performing maintenance and repair on Wärtsilä products, fulfilling tasks assigned by the Field Service Team Leader, and using and maintaining tools to ensure quality workmanship in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications and ISO procedures. Duties include preparing and submitting parts requisitions, maintaining time sheets and expense records for timely invoicing, delivering professional customer interactions, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, assisting with ad-hoc duties, submitting high-quality service work reports within 48 hours of returning from jobs, and promoting Wärtsilä products and services. Requires a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering and is based in Cape Town.
