Job Summary
Senior Service Engineer focused on Desktop Support in an NEC India context. Responsible for L2 troubleshooting of hardware and network devices, using ServiceNow for incident management, executing SSH on network devices, Citrix Desktops, Remote Desktop on Windows, and configuring DHCP/DNS. Handles incidents from lower tiers, documents knowledge base articles, and supports hardware/software troubleshooting, including configuring network base printers. Bonus points for experience with POS peripherals and retail domain knowledge. Senior-level role with broad IT infrastructure responsibilities, patterning uptime, performance, and security within defined budgets. Reports to Project Manager; location: Noida with hybrid work arrangement. Qualifications include BCA/MCA/BTech/BE or equivalent and minimum 3 years of experience.

- Provide case status updates to Customer and Retail Solutions personnel.
- Specialization Description: General IT Infrastructure Systems Administration work focuses on installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems software and hardware for multi-user server computers and/or personal computing devices including: Meeting end user needs by ensuring the uptime, performance, resource availability, and security of the computers managed within established budgets and operational guidelines
- Experience: L2 level of troubleshooting hardware and network devices, Service Now, SSH, Citrix Desktops, Remote Desktop in Windows, DHCP/DNS, incident handling, network printers, POS peripherals, retail domain, KB articles
