Job Summary
Senior Service Engineer IS -ServiceNow AI focused on designing, operating, growing, and improving large-scale computer-based services for IS, non-IS and clinical caregivers. Collaborates with developers, testers, and program managers early in development to ensure service architecture Meets Quality of Service expectations. Applies automation for deployment and recovery, analyzes resilience through failure-mode modeling, and uses data/metrics to drive prioritization and improvements. Engages in backlog discussions, cross-team collaboration, and cross-functional oversight to sustain Live Site reliability. Preference for healthcare experience. Providence/Enterprise Information Services environment with a patient-focused culture and strong benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering, or equivalent education/experience
- 5 years Related experience; more preferred
- Experience in automation related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes
- Experience with n-tier solutions
- Experience with resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and simulating service outages for point solutions and platforms
- Experience influencing software engineering teams in translating customer and technical requirements into service architecture to meet QoS
- Experience leading and representing the service in backlog discussions and standups to establish prioritization of Live Site requirements
- Good experience leveraging data and metrics to drive behavior, process, and priority decisions; problem solving using systematic procedures and root cause analysis
- Preferred: Experience in a Healthcare environment
