Job Summary
Act as the final escalation point for critical Windows Server outages and performance issues, performing end-to-end administration of Hyper-V clusters and virtual machine environments. Manage physical server infrastructure including HP, Dell, and Cisco hardware while ensuring efficient SAN storage operation and supporting SQL and Oracle database environments. Lead disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and regular restoration testing, alongside implementing security hardening, patch management, and compliance best practices. Proactively monitor infrastructure health and recommend improvements for stability. This client-site deployment role in Navi Mumbai supports enterprise applications built on VB and .NET frameworks, requiring strong expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 troubleshooting and virtualization.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of core server experience
- Strong expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 troubleshooting and administration
- Hands-on experience with Hyper-V clusters and virtualization
- SAN storage management
- Experience supporting SQL and Oracle server environments
- Server-side application support (VB / .NET based applications)
- Disaster recovery planning, backups, and restore validation
- Physical server management (HP / Dell / Cisco hardware)
- Security hardening and patch management practices
Desired Qualifications
- Netgear preferred
- Configuration and management of L2/L3 switches, VLANs, and office Wi-Fi networks
- Experience with Fortigate Firewalls
- Endpoint protection using Bitdefender EDR
- High-performing L2 engineers with 7+ years of strong core experience
