Job Summary
Senior SEO Strategist to own end-to-end SEO strategy for two properties (a geo-targeted local site and a national brand site) across Local & National markets, driving organic growth and qualified leads. Responsibilities include technical SEO audits (crawlability, Core Web Vitals, schema, site architecture), AEO/GEO optimization (featured snippets, PAA, AI search platforms), analytics and tracking (GA4, GTM, attribution, funnel analysis), content and on-page optimization (practice-area and city/location pages, metadata, schema), and collaboration with legal/attorney teams. Requires 5+ years of SEO experience, hands-on WordPress and technical SEO execution, and strong proficiency with GA4, GTM, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog. Familiarity with local and niche legal markets, multi-language SEO where applicable, and adherence to YMYL/E-E-A-T standards is expected. Location: Murray, UT with on-site or hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years SEO experience (in-house or agency)
- Proven ownership of SEO programs end-to-end
- Experience managing SEO across multiple sites or properties
- Legal industry experience strongly preferred
- Advanced GA4 configuration and reporting
- Google Tag Manager (GTM)
- Google Search Console (power user)
- UTM tracking and attribution expertise
- SEMrush (full suite)
- Ahrefs (link analysis & content strategy)
- Screaming Frog (technical audits)
- WordPress (confident, hands-on)
- Yoast SEO / RankMath
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
- Strong understanding of Core Web Vitals and technical SEO
